
WHERE IT ALL BEGAN:
The Butcher Block was established in the fall of 2002 by a retired couple residing here in middle Tennessee. They came in with a background of meat processing and added fresh deli meats and produce to the storefront. They passionately ran the business for just over a decade before passing it along to another family who maintained the company until the current owners purchased The Butcher Block.
TODAY:
Today the store runs six days a week carrying a wide variety of cuts & primals with some local wagyu from time to time as well as a dry aging unit on display in the store front.
Our beef: grass fed with grain finish, the pork: premium & chicken: all natural, amish raised. You'll see "Ready To Cook" options available in every selection. Items such as meatloaves, hamloaves, stuffed chicken, italian meatballs, pork rolls and much more!
As for the deli, we have added an incredible Amish goods selection such as eggs & fresh honey. If you are savvy on Nashville's food scene you will now notice a line from Coco's Italian Market available in our shopping section.
The deli has a mouthwatering sandwich menu of which are served with all Boar's Head Meats and Cheeses that are cut in house daily. The bread selection is provided by Masada Bakery coming in fresh & preservative free three days a week.
It has always been, and will continue to be, the core mission of the shop to provide the very best for you and your family.
